There's a reason why the coroner's office releases details about deaths the way that they do.
Don't screw everything up by speculating on and publicizing the deaths of people whose next of kin have yet to be notified.
How would you like it if your mother was reported to have died in an accident when she was actually alive and well?

There was some kind of auto accident in Fullerton this morning. 3 cars, 3 fatalities.
Under normal circumstances, the coroner will do their thing and, presumably, next of kin are notified and such.
It's my impression that they don't publicize names in the media until next of kin are notified. Maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, TMZ and their ilk start reporting stuff in the gossip rags... one of the victims was an Angels pitcher or some such.
How shitty would that be if 1) you're this guy's family and you hear it from the radio, or 2) you're this guy's family, he's actually alright, and now you're throwing a shit because someone was speculating and sensationalist.
