Faith in the Presidency

Separation of the Church and State has been a mantra in the US for a good long time. I suck on the history behind this, but I suspect it's a holdover from England that has managed to persist to the current day. However, in the past four years, the separation here has become less and less distinct.

Ron Suskind wrote an article for the New York Times regarding what he says has become a faith-based presidency. The connecting of dots to me is somewhat disturbing, tempered only by my general cynicism.
