Empty Nest Syndrome
The last of the house guests leaves tonight. On the one hand, it is a relief, because it means there will be some peace and quiet around the house again. On the other, I feel melancholic. It's like a tonne of energy drained out of here one by one as people who were staying here for their winter breaks or here on vacation have all gone their separate ways.
Makes me wish I still had my cats with me right now.
