Poetic Justice

Sometimes it isn't so poetic. While going through old email in my Inbox today, I came across this, sent to me by a friend: The Pampered Prisoner: Steve Bugden

For a frame of reference, this is the man that raped and killed a high school friend of mine back on 14 March 1997. Her name is Angela Tong and she really does deserve a page of her own. I'm going to say that she deserves it more than Bugden because, quite frankly, I haven't yet been able to find a way to forgive him for what he'd done, yet.

So, to try to balance out a few of the inequities that the Internet makes easy to propagate, here are a few sites that I found related to my friend. Unfortunately, mostly in memorial:

A Tribute to Angela Tong by Kristine Kruszer
Thoughts on Angela Tong's Vigil by Kathleen Nicholson
Carleton University Bursaries, where the Angela Tong Memorial Award is mentioned toward the very bottom.

Something more really needs to be said. If anyone reads this who knew Angela, please email me. I'm looking for photos, stories, anything.

Angela, you're missed.
