J. C. Watts
Here in the US, J. C. Watts is not planning to run again for his seat in Congress. This is a big deal for Republicans as he is one of the few Black Republicans.
But I remember him as the quarterback of the Ottawa Rough Riders of my youth.
If you think that's jarring, Alanis Morrisette sang Britney-esque teenie bop candy fluff in Canada when I was in high school. Nyah. (She also went to my rival high school, so I hate her on principle.)
