A loaf of bread
I went to the grocery store today and wanted to pick up a loaf of bread. Fairly simple stuff. I swear the entire bread section was cleared out except for a couple of loaves here and there. That really ticked me off. It ticked me off more to know that the only reason all that stuff was gone was because there was the threat of snow in the region.
You'd think that, after a living in the area for so long, that people wouldn't freak out and hoard every time there's even the slightest mention of snow, but they do. It's a problem that feeds on itself, too, because if you don't do it, then others will and when you decide to go back for more groceries as normal, you'd be left high and dry. The selfishness that people exhibit in times like these is staggering.
Maybe I'll rewrite this later when I've had more time to ponder it.
